Furry Bottoms Rescue operates without paid staff so our volunteers mean the world to us. We're grateful for their time and skills...we couldn't possibly exist without them. There are many ways you can volunteer with us, depending on your interests and how much time you can offer. And even though we're very passionate about our mission of saving dogs' lives, we're flexible, casual and like to have fun!
We've listed some of our volunteer positions below but if you have a special area of knowledge that you think might benefit us, please let us know about it. We love to hear about new ideas that can make Furry Bottoms Rescue even better!
Volunteers are needed to staff adoption events and special events and fundraisers, as well as provide transportation for our animals to and from vet appointments and adoption events.
There's a special bond between a dog and it's Foster Family. Knowing you're changing the life of a deserving dog is immensely fulfilling, and the dogs seem so grateful to get a second chance they shower you with love and affection. You don't need any special skills or knowledge to foster a dog. If you have an open heart, patience, and some common sense, we'll give you all the information and support you need to be a success!
- Providing a safe and loving home environment, including a bed or crate, quality food, and a few toys
- Transportation to vet appointments. We pay for all veterinary bills and medication
- Teaching manners, some basic commands, and housetraining if needed
- Updating us about your foster dog on a simple form we provide
- Bringing the dog to an adoption event, if asked
- Contacting us right away about any problems or concerns
Click this button to give us financial support with your Visa, Mastercard, E-check or through your PayPal account. Furry Bottoms Rescue relies on your donations to keep us saving those in need. The financial cost of rescue work is considerable. We have no paid staff so 100% of your financial contribution goes to the rescue and care of our animals. Don't forget, your donation is tax
